We are a small but busy cookery school operating from the original ballroom of the Oakwood building on the outskirts of Elgin.

We opened back in 2011 and have been going from strength to strength since, winning ‘Moray Young Business of the Year’ in 2012. Since beginning the business we have evolved in our approach bringing new chefs to our team, following food trends and developing our classes to suit.


We run a few classes weekly - this could be a mixture of evening classes, full day classes, kids Birthday parties, kids cookery classes, corporate classes.  We don’t offer daily classes as we would prefer to focus on fewer classes which will allow us to offer as professional a service that we can.  A lot of behind the scenes work goes into just one class from all the bookings & enquiries, to shopping for ingredients – we try to support other small local businesses where we can, all the ingredients are weighed out in advance and we do all the cleaning too.

We are offer a variety of hands on cooking experiences, day courses and relaxed demo and dine evenings designed to make cooking a fun experience regardless of your cooking ability. Our approach is friendly and informal with classes having a maximum of 12 students.  Our overall aim from each course is to enjoy yourself, everything will be demonstrated, techniques explained and handy tips shared which will help improve your skills and above all build your confidence to create the perfect dining experience.
